Christopher Barnes thinks his grandparents are "simply the best", especially when they take him to see poisonous spiders.
So when he was asked to put in writing why his grandfather and grandmother were so special, he didn't have to think twice.
Christopher, six, a pupil at St Joseph's RC School, in Tadcaster, was one of thousands of children who took part in a national competition run by breadmakers Warburtons.
Judges made him one of the top five prizewinners. Christopher's prize-winning entry went like this:
My grandma and grandad are very special
They pick me up from school sometimes and give me sweets
I go to their house to see them
I love them very much
They take me to Tropical World
To see the poisonous spiders and great big fish
His reward was a video of the children's TV cartoon Rugrats, cinema tickets to watch a Rugrats film and £15 cash.
Christopher lives in Towton with his father, David, a bank manager, and mother, Alison, who works at the British Lending Library at Thorp Arch.
His grandad, Derek Brench, 71, who lives with his wife, Sylvia, 67, at East Keswick, near Wetherby, said today he was very proud of his grandson.
