Heather Powell and Carol Deighton were on top form as York RI won 8-1 at home to Nestl Rowntree in ladies division one of York Badminton League.
Powell and Deighton scored three straight wins for a return of 90-30. Emma Andrew and Helen Shepherd of Rowntree beat Anne Murray and Bridget Denton 15-6 17-16.
Margaret Gardiner and Catherine Topping scored three wins for 102-57 as Tadcaster 86 won 8-1 at home to Market Weighton in ladies division two.
Sue Smith and Sue Durston of Market Weighton beat Denise Murray and Alison Jackson 4-15, 15-10 15-9.
Ann Casper and Gwen Bentley scored a ten and 13 win over Lindsay Jewison and Theresa Roberts-Hardy to give Riverside a 5-4 home win over Huntington. Bev Tebbutt and Angela Hobman scored three Huntington wins for 90-44.
Duncan Bosworth and Russell Binns scored three straight wins for 90-32 to help University Students 'A' win 6-3 at home to over IT Sports in men's division one.
Paul Blackett and Chris Schofield won two for IT Sports but lost lost nine and four to Bosworth and Binns.
Peter Robinson and Ben Tilley were taken to a deciding end each time in scoring three wins for a total of 121-81 as Students 'B' won 5-4 at home to Drax 'B'.
Robinson and Tilley's successes included a 15-11 9-15 15-10 over Richard Course and Andrew Dunning, who won two for Drax.
Ian Sinker and Mark Thompson scored three straight wins for 90-41 to help RI Tuesday/Thursday 'A' win 6-3 away to Knavesmire 'A' in men's division two. Dave Brogden and Andy Limbert won two for Knavesmire wins, but lost 12 and 13 to Sinker and Thompson.
Keith Burrows and Roger Martin scored three wins for 90-37 as Millthorpe won 5-4 at home to Students 'B'. Burrows and Martin's wins included an eight and eight win over Peter Robinson and Ben Tilley, who scored took two wins in straight sets.
Barry Johnson and Paul Moisley scored three straight wins for 90-35 as Huntington won 9-0 at home to York University Staff Club in men's division three.
