A SEMINAR on financial management for farmers in these troubled times has been organised for the Country Landowners' Association by James Severn of Andersons for Yorkshire and the north of England.
"The situation is so bad that we are opening the two seminars to non-CLA members," said Dorothy Fairburn, Yorkshire director of the CLA. "Many farmers will think that so much is happening on their farm at the moment that they have not got the time to listen to those pontificating about the industry. We do, however, urge them to take time out to listen to the important issues which will be discussed in their area. What is important is that they will be able to ask questions after each presentation."
Admission to the seminars is free. The seminars will be held on Monday, December 4, at the Angel Inn, Topcliffe; the other is on Wednesday, December 6, at Owston Park Lodge, Owston. Both are morning sessions. Anyone interested is asked to book as soon as possible by calling the CLA's regional office on (01347) 823803.
