LANDOWNERS should speak out on the hunting issue, the Country Landowners Association is urging.
With the Government still signalling its intention to introduce a hunt-ban bill, Yorkshire CLA director Dorothy Fairburn said: "We accept that there are members of the CLA who do not support hunting with hounds and it is their right to hold that opinion.
"The CLA, however, is determined to keep pointing out that all landowners should be allowed to decide whether or not to allow hunting on their land. It is their right. Removing this right is taking the nanny state too far."
The CLA is urging members to write or speak to their local MP to express their views.
