A dozen Queen Margaret's School, Escrick, students have been selected for the county's hockey and lacrosse teams.
Included in the Yorkshire Under-16 lacrosse squad are Sophie Duncanson, Millie Souter and Caroline Cooper.
In the hockey squads Laura Jarvis, Mary-Jane Simpson and Kirsty Fitzgerald are in the Under-15 squad, while Victoria Argyle, Elizabeth Lockett, Lucy White, Becky Kirby and Amanda Watkins have been called up by the under-18s.
St Margaret's defied the recent floods to stage the Northern Schools lacrosse tournament and shared the trophy with Withington.
In the qualifying matches Withington beat St Margaret's 1-0, but the York side won through with a 4-1 victory over Moreton Hall and in the final drew 1-1 with their Manchester rivals for a share of the spoils.
