I WONDER if other people have experienced problems with motorists when walking in York. Courtesy and even general road safety seems to have been abandoned as the motorists line-up 'lemming-like' in traffic queues throughout the city.
Pedestrian crossings are regularly blocked with selfish car drivers who have no respect for pedestrians, even those like myself who are pushing prams or buggies.
Some of these journeys are clearly unnecessary; many seem to be school runs. Is this setting a good example to the next generation?
