High-flying Pickering Town face another test of their credentials when they entertain second-placed Parkgate in division one of the Northern Counties East League.
The Pikes - whose FA Carlsberg Vase clash at Marske United has been rearranged for Monday after being postponed for the fifth time due to a waterlogged pitch last night - are currently fourth in the table with games in hand.
Boss Jimmy Reid, who will be without unavailable centre-back Phil O'Reilly, said: "It's another big game for us.
"If we're going to do anything this year, this is a game we need to at least draw. Last year we were losing games like these but this year we've got to move on."
Reid was due to sign midfielder Matthew Cressey from neighbours Tadcaster Albion today, and he might be added to the squad for the game, which will be preceded by an under-11s match between the Pikes and Brompton, from Northallerton.
Albion, meanwhile, entertain Worsbrough Bridge hoping to lift themselves out of the bottom two.
In the NCEL premier division, Harrogate Railway expect to give a debut to former Bradford City and Oldham Athletic player Ian McLean when they entertain Selby Town.
McLean, 22, who has made the switch from Harrogate Town, will start at left midfield.
Dean Wilson is set to make his second start for Railway after registering from Pickering Town.
Wilson, who had been playing for Northallerton in the Northern League, was man of the match on his debut last week when Railway beat Tadcaster 5-2 in the League Cup.
Mark Smitheringale is unavailable and Alex Middleton, who made a promising debut as substitute last week, has a virus, but Steve Hartley is to return after recovering from a thigh problem.
Selby have been rocked by a double-whammy.
Striker Paul Cygan is set to see a specialist regarding his troublesome knee and is likely to be out until well into the new year, while fellow centre-back Andy Hart has been given a 35-day suspension following his sending off for dissent against Denaby last month.
Hart is appealing against the ruling so a start date for the suspension has not been set.
Promotion-seeking Goole entertain Glasshoughton Welfare.
UniBond League division one strugglers Harrogate Town will want to build on their two-match unbeaten run when they visit high-riding Witton Albion.
Town have drawn both their games since John Reed became Mick Hennigan's number two at Wetherby Road, conceding one goal in the process having previously let in 35 goals in just 17 league outings.
The club will hope that the management team can start to move the club up the table.
West Yorkshire League champions Nestl Rowntree will go on the short trip along the A59 to face Knaresborough Town without number one Neil Smallwood or Alex Dewhurst, who are both unavailable.
John Reynolds deputises in goal and Elliot Simpson returns from a week's absence, while boss Jim Collis has also called up Simon Kehoe into the squad.
Collis said: "We always have a tough game at Knaresborough, who are always up for it when we play them. It's early days yet to talk about titles but if we're going to win anything we've got to beat them at their place.
"But we've got the players to do it and I'm looking forward to a performance like the one we put on last week (in beating Grange-town Boys Club 2-0 in the North Riding Senior Cup). I don't think we will meet anyone as tough as Grangetown in our league."
Knaresborough will want to complete a quick York double after beating York RI 1-0 last week.
RI entertain Saltburn side Carlin Howe in the first preliminary round of the North Riding Senior Cup
Manager Brian Wilkinson has kept Jimmy McMurray in the squad after he impressed for the reserves and then as a first-team substitute in last week's defeat.
Northern Under-19s Alliance League outfit Pickering Town under-19s were hoping to arrange an away game at Garforth on Sunday. All players are asked to phone manager Gary Farthing tomorrow night.
