YORK sculptor Andrian Melka has won admirers in high places for his art, which is championed by Prince Charles and Lord Rothschild.
Now the stonemason, who moved to England from Albania, has unveiled his latest work, which should be of particular interest to the Prince of Wales because it is a sculpture of his parents, the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.
By choosing to work in stone, Mr Melka ensures that his art is not of fleeting importance but should be around for years to come.
