BLACK Swan, Pickering, are back on top of the Beckett League division one.
They gave up home advantage - one of four teams to do so last weekend in order to get the games played - but still won 8-0 at Slingsby.
The home team hit the post direct from a corner after three minutes, but this only shocked Black Swan into action and they opened the scoring four minutes later when Nick Wilkinson crossed for Richard Robinson to net.
Steve Sailes doubled the lead on 17 minutes and a minute later Wilkinson scored the goal of the game. The fourth came from a Kevin Wilson penalty ten minutes before half time after Sailes had been brought down.
Tom Bowley scored after 47 and 49 minutes, Simon Dale after 55 minutes, and Bowley completed his hat-trick after 68 minutes.
Thornton-le-Dale switched their game to Rosedale, who won 9-0 with John Tindal and man of the match Chris James both netting hat-tricks. Les Bargh bagged a brace, while 'keeper Ian Ward scored a 75th minute penalty.
Referee Chris McLaren sent off Bargh and Thornton-le-Dale duo Craig Barnes and Andrew Spittlehouse.
Ampleforth won 3-2 at home to Old Malton thirds in a division two re-arranged game.
Old Malton took the lead after ten minutes through their man of the match, Paul Milner. Ampleforth equalised before half-time and took a 2-1 lead after the break.
Old Malton were reduced to ten men when 'keeper Ben Woollard was injured but still found an equaliser through Sam Thackray only for Ampleforth to grab the winner three minutes from time.
Ampleforth's scorers were scored by Kevin Wright, Chris Lawson and man of the match Leo Wall.
Leading 2-0 at half-time against Old Red House with goals by Colin Baldwin and Paul Fountain, Bagby and Balk increased their lead to 5-0 after the break with further goals by Anthony Hewson (2) and Paul Fountain.
Old Red House fought back to 5-3, all their goals coming in the last 15 minutes.
In the Ryedale Hospital Cup first round, Westlers switched their game to Gillamoor who won 2-1.
An own goal after five minutes gave Westlers the lead but Trevor Bainbridge equalised on 25 minutes and Gillamoor's winner came from Dan Broadbent ten minutes after the interval.
First division Kirkdale United, scored five goals in the last 25 minutes to beat second division Heslerton Reserves 6-0.
Heslerton created a number of chances but were denied by 'keeper Nigel Johnson.
Kirkdale took the lead after eight minutes through Patrick Robinson.
In the last 25 minutes Robinson completed a hat-trick and Philip Charlton, Richard Pugh and William Metcalfe also got on the scoresheet.
