DEAF children took part in drama and dance workshops as part of a national festival performance held in York.
The children came from across the North-East to the Priory Street Centre as part of the National Deaf Children's Society 30th Festival of Performing Arts.
They took part in dance and drama workshops, then put on performances in the afternoons.
Primary school children had their day yesterday and secondary school children were taking to the stage today.
The annual festival is designed to celebrate the achievements, skills and talents of deaf children with arts and drama workshops and performances.
