Organiser Dave Wright (Team Daiwa Armley Angling) was an easy winner at Carpvale again, toping the 23 entry with a level 40-0-0. Drawn on peg 14 he fished long pole and meat for eight carp.

Even turning on the aerators in an attempt to disperse the fish could not stop Skylark pegs 21 to 23 from dominating this week's three contests at Woodlands.
Wednesday's 68 entry went to Dave Collier (Elton Tackle) from Skylark 22 where he took 30-7-0 of small carp maggot feeder and pinkie. At the next peg 21 Alan Scotthorne (Shimano Mustad) used the same attack for another all carp 26-5-0.

Sunday's 72 peg sell-out saw Steve Wathey (Middlesborough Newman Scotts) triumph from Skylark 23.
Fishing the usual maggot feeder -single maggot combination he took small carp plus odd bonus fish to 6lb in his 56-2-0.

The Saturday event saw 70 fishing Skylark, Partridge and Dragonfly. Bill Blythe (Middlesborough Newman Scotts) ended the Skylark domination, winning from Partridge 14 with 34-10-0 of small carp.
Pete Nixon (Middlesborough Newman Scotts) was second with 33-11-0 from 23, beating off the challenge of Dave Pimlott (Keenets NW) who had 26-2-0 from 22.

York juniors are holding their presentation night on Friday at the City Arms on Fawcett Street in York, from 7.30pm to 11pm.
Junior members gain entry free, while the cost for other juniors and adults is £2.50 and £5, respectively, paying at the door. The night will also include food and a disco.
