Pickering Town will be hoping it's fourth time lucky tonight as they again travel to Marske United for their FA Vase encounter (7.30pm).

The second round clash has been postponed three times - the latest, last week, was called off after the Pikes had made the trip north - and tonight's match is also subject to an afternoon pitch inspection.

Jimmy Reid's men knocked out Marske's Northern League counterparts Chester-le Street in the first round thanks to a 1-0 away win, and they will travel to Cleveland expecting an even tougher test.

"We'll be going up there to see if we can get a draw and anything more will be a bonus," said Reid, who has added Danny Farthing and Jody Chapman to his squad.

Striker Adam Wash, who has been out for nearly a month after suffering a burst blood vessel, is also included after coming on for 15 extra-time minutes of the Northern Counties East League Cup 4-2 defeat at Garforth Town on Saturday.

Pickering Town: from Campbell, Reid, Thornton, Sturdy, Connor, Dale, G Chapman, Wilgrass, Wilson, O'Reilly, Wood, Gaughan, Wash, J Chapman, Farthing, Mitchell.

A former junior with Slovakian giants Inter Bratislava has registered for UniBond League division one strugglers Harrogate Town.

Goalkeeper Rasti Martos - who has also played senior football in Slovakia for SKP Devin Bratislava and HFK Topolcany, and was playing in the USA for Des Moines Menace during the summer - is now living in Ripon and has impressed while training with the Wetherby Road outfit.

Boss Mick Hennigan said: "He's been wanting to train and wanting to play for Harrogate Town and I think that kind of keenness needs to be encouraged."

Martos, 22, goes into the squad for tonight's UniBond League Cup group stage match at home to division one high-flyers Bradford Park Avenue, but Hennigan said that regular number one Chris Hill will start in goal.

Halifax Town youngster Steve Underwood, who is on a short loan at Harrogate from York City's Division Three rivals, is also included.

Tonight's clash (kick off 7.30pm) is in group three, which also includes Frickley Athletic, Farsley Celtic and Emley, and is Harrogate's first match in the competition this season.

Harrogate Town: from Hill, Bairstow, Hudson, Nevis, Hine, Atkinson, Underwood, Couzens, Elliott, Dunn, Merris, Poole, Featherstone, Spence, Roden, McLean, Ridley, Martos.
