CAKE maker Sylvia Ross is not the only person in York dreaming of a dry Christmas.
This seasonal offering, complete with Santa with an umbrella and floating crackers, was made by staff at Imaginative Icing, in Lendal.
"We normally make something topical when appropriate, and we hoped it would put a smile on people's faces," said shop owner Janice Springall.
The cake, inspired by the record floods of recent weeks, has already become a talking point among customers at the shop.
"People have been pointing at it and laughing, so it's had the right effect," said Mrs Springall.
