DO not oppose the course specialist at Ascot tomorrow.

Get Real, with only one defeat in five races on the track, bids to add to his impressive record by winning in the £20,000 sport4cast.com Handicap Chase, one of three events being shown live on BBC2.

Trained by Nicky Henderson, whose horses are in good form, Get Real won the corresponding race 12 months ago with a convincing front-running display which saw cross the line five lengths ahead of Dantes Cavalier.

Cenkos, closely matched with Get Real on Punchestown form in May, will ensure that my selection does not have all his own way, while the lightly-weighted Wave Rock underlined his well-being with a decisive victory at Cheltenham last Saturday.

But, if course advantage counts for anything, Get Real has to be the one. John Kavanagh comes in for the mount, deputising for the injured Mick Fitzgerald.

Henderson and Kavanagh can also land the £26,000 PricewaterhouseCoopers Ascot Hurdle with my Nap selection Geos.

A model of consistency last season, Geos enjoyed a fine campaign highlighted by his success in the Tote Gold Trophy at Newbury.

Although he steps out of handicap company here, and is without a preparatory run, it will still be surprising if Geos does not make a very live challenge.

Handyman has strong claims in the Sony 'Go Create' Novices' Handicap Chase.

The six-year-old unseated his rider on his reappearance at Chepstow, but more than made up for that hiccup at Uttoxeter last time when running out a four lengths winner of a warm novices event.

The lightly-raced Handyman is open to further improvement and looks capable of adding to his score here.

Ryedale trainer Richard Fahey sends Dhaudeloup to Ascot for the Bison Group Handicap Hurdle.

The five-year-old, who developed into a useful performer over timber last season, is fit from the Flat, having recently had two races at Doncaster.

Back over hurdles and with the excellent Timmy Murphy on board, he should make a bold bid to justify his long journey south.

The highly-regarded Tik-A-Tai (1.00) and the promising Ready To Rumble (2.10) are also worth noting on a high-class card.

At Exeter, Behrajan promises to be the star attraction in the Tripleprint Novices' Chase.

A former top-notch staying hurdler, Henry Daly's French recruit switched to fences with pleasing results at Wetherby last month when winning easily and giving an eye-catching display of jumping.

Destined to take top honours this term as a novice chaser, Behrajan can put another brick in the wall tomorrow by doubling his winning tally.

The consistent Danzante (1.20) and the progressive Kildare Chiller (3.30) are also worthy of consideration.
