York City target Mark Bower will return to Bootham Crescent tonight with Terry Dolan taking a watching brief
The central defender, who was a key figure in City's upturn in fortunes at the end of last season during a three-month long loan spell, will be on duty for Bradford City reserves against Leeds United (kick-off 7pm).
Bower is included in a Bantams side that will also feature former England, Manchester United, Leeds and Sampdoria winger Lee Sharpe.
Dolan, who has admitted he has tried to bring Bower back to Bootham Crescent on more than one occasion since the summer, is planning to take in the game.
He was unable to cast his eye over Sunday's FA Cup first round opponents Radcliffe Borough after their FA Trophy clash with Leek last night was postponed.
Jason Wilcox can give Leeds manager David O'Leary a Champions' League boost at Bootham Crescent when the England winger attempts a long awaited comeback in the reserves.
Wilcox, who withdrew from England's Euro 2000 squad in the summer and had a knee operation, has been restricted to one substitute appearance this season, but faces Bradford reserves tonight.
Admission for the 'derby' costs £4 adults and £2 concessions.
