However, against Holgate Shepherds fell behind 2-0 and it took another 19 darts from Willsden to turn the tide.
Barry Davidson (107 finish on bull) and Mark Jones (180) chipped in their support, and Shepherds ran out 8-3 victors.
Tap and Spile are putting a tidy run together and John Smith (20) led the way in an excellent 9-2 victory over Burton Stone.
This was followed by a 10-1 victory over Bishopthorpe. John Fowler (20) and Alex Render (21) played well and Andy Parker closed on bull to complete a fine 110 check.

Presentation and competition finals night will take place in January so as not to clash with a Unique Pub Company sponsored York Open competition which is held on Friday nights in the run-up to Christmas.
