I HAVE just spent a week in York. Most years since 1974, I have had a week's holiday in York and hope to for many more years to come.
Something must be done about the traffic.
The proposed Coppergate scheme should see that car parking is moved outside the city walls, and more shops are not needed.
Just look at all the empty shops at present in town.
My few days in York were before the floods and I hope that things will soon be back to normal.
I see that Stamford Bridge has also been flooded again and I hope something will be done to stop this once and for all.
My thoughts will be with you all at this time.
