Tadcaster Albion boss Wayne Day has made strides to sort out his struggling side's shyness in front of goal.
Day last night signed Steve Batley from Whitkirk Wanderers - the second highest scorers in the West Yorkshire League premier division - in the hope the striker can fire Albion up the Northern Counties East League division one table, starting with tomorrow's clash at Hatfield Main.
Day said: "Defensively, we're as good as the top two teams in the division having conceded no more goals, but they've scored four times as many as we have, so it's not too difficult to see where the problem lies.
"We're still playing well enough to pick up points and as long as we keep playing in the same manner we should start getting some reward."
The clash was originally scheduled for Ings Lane but has been switched to Hatfield because of a waterlogged pitch.
