A double serving of Macs will be on the menu for football hungry youngsters in York tomorrow.
Former York City favourite and flying winger Jon McCarthy is to be a special guest at Andy McMillan's Football Academy.
As reported in the Evening Press, Minstermen legend McMillan has set up his own football coaching course for kids at the Hopgrove Playing Fields Association complex.
Northern Ireland international McCarthy is currently out of action at First Division Birmingham City as he recovers from a second broken in less than a year.
McCarthy has agreed to lend his former City team-mate a helping hand tomorrow, passing on his top-flight advice and answering questions.
The courses, priced £3, run from 9am to 10.30pm for youngsters aged from five to 12 year olds.
Parents have no need to book but are invited to bring their children along to the Hopgrove complex, sited just off the A1036 York road, on the day.
