All-weather Flat racing at Lingfield tomorrow offers former leading apprentice Neil Callan with a good opportunity to make his mark.

Callan, who will be moving to North Yorkshire from Newmarket when his boss Karl Burke takes over the Spigot Lodge yard in Middleham at the end of the year, can land the Golf Leisure And Racing Selling Handicap on Burke's Pat The Builder.

A winner on this course two outings ago, Pat The Builder has since run a fair race in a competitive nursery race back on turf at Newcastle.

Returning to the equitrack surface tomorrow promises to be in his favour, so much so that Pat The Builder is napped to do the business.

Callan can also score on Kayo Gee in the Ladbroke All-Weather Trophy Handicap (Qualifier).

Kayo Gee belied her 25-1 odds over this course and distance recently when finishing a good second to Pengamon.

A reproduction of that form should make her hard to beat tomorrow.

Also worth watching out for are Just Wiz (1.20), a recent winner, and Tammam (3.20), the mount of North Yorkshire jockey Tony Culhane.

Brian Ellison, Ryedale's newest training recruit, who landed the valuable November Handicap at Doncaster last Saturday with Batswing, can maintain his winning run at Ludlow tomorrow.

Ellison saddles Arcticaldi in the Racing Channel Novices' Handicap Chase and has secured the services of top northern jockey Tony Dobbin for the mount.

A winner at Southwell three outings ago, Arcticaldi remains in decent form judged by his latest third-placed effort behind Singing Sand at Sedgefield. He can get back on the winning trail tomorrow.

Churchtown Glen should not be overlooked in the Racing Channel 50 To Follow Handicap Chase.

Steve Brookshaw's long-distance specialist appears to have had his share of problems, but he shaped with distinct promise at Aintree last time to chase home Lively Dessert, the 6-4 favourite.

Well worth another chance, Churchtown Glen may well be able to go one better.
