Joseph Rowntree School's combined under-15 and under-16 rugby union tour to Holland proved a great success as the York side recorded two victories.
The squad received top class coaching in Holland from Des Seabrook, the man who masterminded Orrell's remarkable rise to join rugby union's elite.
Some of the same magic worked on the Joseph Rowntree squad as they notched up two excellent results.
The first was a 34-5 win over the Diok club in which centre Matthew Gilligan led the way with two tries. Fly-half and captain Chris Atkinson added a try and two conversions with winger David West, centre Simon Flint and second rower Oliver Mills scoring a try apiece.
The following evening the York squad overcame a spirited Haagsche team 33-7 in the Hague.
Former front rower Ben Hassall, converted to scrum-half two days earlier following typically shrewd Seabrook advice, took over the captaincy for the game.
Gilligan again showed his class with three tries, Atkinson scored a fine individual try and added four conversions and Mills, switched to No 8, forced his way over from close range.
The Joseph Rowntree boys proved great ambassadors for their school and country.
