During the recent fuel shortages, I noticed some garages displaying a "£10 Maximum" sign, or similar.
This is only about two and a half gallons of fuel in a car which probably has a ten to 15 gallon fuel tank.
Surely, a "£10 Minimum" sign would make more sense.
After all, the long queues are caused in the first place by too many people topping up their tanks unnecessarily with small amounts of fuel and they will probably 'hop' from one garage to another until their tanks are full anyway.
