So the Plaskitts' appeal is a victory for common sense (Evening Press, November 3). Perhaps it would have been prudent and common sense to follow the statutory procedures in the first instance and wait for the outcome instead of being blatantly presumptuous.
However, having relied on the Press to appeal for public sympathy it does highlight their ostentatious approach in dealing with such matters.
The water is still rising - well, we can hope.
