Rail enthusiasts from across the UK will be steaming into Pickering this weekend for the annual Diesel Gala which is taking place.
The highlight of the event, which has been organised by North York Moors Railway, will be two Class 31 locomotives which will be pulling in at Pickering on Sunday.
The event will include a Class 42 'Warship' called 'Onslaught', a Class 24 and a Class 46, which have been loaned from the East Lancashire Railway and from record producer Pete Waterman.
NYMR will be operating an hourly train service during the event which takes place all day today, tomorrow and Sunday, providing rail lovers with a chance to travel on some old diesels.
All day tickets are available at £12 for adults, £6 for children and £10 for over 60s. For more information contact NYMR on 01751 472508.
