A CONFERENCE to help farmers survive the current agricultural crisis is being organised for the Yorkshire Agricultural Society Showground, Harrogate, on November 7.
It is being organised by Farmers Weekly in association with HSBC Bank and Deloitte & Touche. The accounting firm will present its annual incomes survey to provide an insight into the industry's fortunes that gives farmers a chance to compare their performance with benchmark figures. HSBC speakers will reveal how they see the fortunes of UK agriculture unfolding over the next 12 months.
The conference, 4-6.30pm, is followed by a buffet supper. Tickets cost £15 for farmers, £30 for others available by writing to Alison Carlisle, Deloitte & Touche, Queen Anne House, Queen's Square, Bristol BS1 4JP, making cheques payable to Deloitte & Touche.
