Tadcaster Men I waited until two minutes from time to strike the winner in their Yorkshire League division five encounter at Kings Cross.
Tadcaster travelled to Kings Cross with four key players missing and it showed in the opening ten minutes as the home side had the upper hand.
But Tadcaster came more into the game and hit back with two goals through Mark Waterhouse and Nick Burrell, before Kings Cross pulled one back before half-time.
The second half saw Kings Cross push hard for an equaliser which came with ten minutes to go.
Both teams then had chances to win it but it was Tadcaster who scored with their only short corner of the game just before full-time to secure a 3-2 win.
Tadcaster Men II's match against Normanby Park was cancelled due to a flooded pitch.
A first-half strike from Rebecca Cattle was enough to give Tadcaster Ladies I a 1-0 victory at Dewsbury in Yorkshire Women's League division four.
Tadcaster found the going tough mainly due to the weather conditions.
The wet pitch slowed the match down considerably but Cattle was able to make the break-through and find the net.
Both teams produced some good attacks in the second half with Dewsbury putting the pressure on in the final minutes but they were unable to force an equaliser.
