Do you have the perfect neighbour living somewhere near you?
Well you can help repay their kindness by helping them to win a £1,000 spending spree in time for Christmas.
The Evening Press has joined forces with the McArthurGlen designer outlet at Fulford to find the Neighbour from Heaven from around our area whether it's York or North or East Yorkshire.
We are looking for the selfless, kind, generous, wonderful neighbour who helps those around without a second thought.
And you can help them win a fabulous spending spree courtesy of McArthurGlen.
The winner could be a neighbour who has helped out with your children or chores at times of crisis; or keeps a watchful eye on elderly neighbours and runs errands for them.
There are hundreds of ways to be a good neighbour, and we would like to hear about them from you.
We want you to nominate your super neighbour, telling us just what they do - or have done - to earn the title.
In the coming weeks we will be publishing your heartwarming stories.
Then we shall choose a winner who will be given £1,000 worth of vouchers to spend at McArthurGlen.
Amanda Wright, the designer outlet's marketing manager said: "We are delighted to be associated with this competition because good neighbours are so important to us as all, whether at home or in business."
Send us your good neighbour story saying why the person next door or just along the street deserves our prize and the title Neighbour from Heaven.
Entries should include the name, address, postcode and telephone of the neighbour you wish to nominate, plus the reason (also include your name and number). Send it to: Neighbours from Heaven Competition, c/o Bill Hearld, Evening Press, 76-86 Walmgate, York, YO1 9YN. (e-mail: bill.hearld@ycp.co.uk) Closing date for the competition is December 1.
Employees (and their families) of York & County Press, McArthurGlen and its associate companies may not enter.
Usual Evening Press competition rules apply and the winning neighbours must agree to publicity. The editor's decision is final.
