York City will not know until next Monday night who they will face in the FA Cup first round.
The Minstermen were drawn to visit either Radcliffe Borough or Burscough on November 18, but the UniBond League rivals drew their fourth qualifying round tie on Saturday 1-1 and tonight's scheduled replay at Boro's Stainton Park ground was called off because of a waterlogged pitch.
The two teams will no replay next Monday at 7.45pm.
City werealso victims of the weather yesterday as their Wigginton Road training ground was waterlogged. The session was switched to the gym at Bootham Crescent.
Assistant manager Adie Shaw said: "The pitch was under water."
Former City midfielder Mark Tinkler is poised to sign for third division rivals Hartlepool from Southend.
Bishop Auckland-born Tinkler, who celebrated his 27th birthday last Wednesday, has had talks with Victoria Stadium boss Chris Turner and the deal could be included in time for the former Leeds United player to line-up for Hartlepool at Scunthorpe United on Saturday.
While Tinkler has retained a regular first team place at Roots Hall since the departure of former York boss Alan Little and the installation of David Webb, the financially stricken Shrimpers are looking to cut their wage bill.
Tinkler, who made 90 appearances for the Minstermen before his move to Southend 15 months ago, almost joined Carlisle United earlier this month.
