NOT being in York to hear the York Millennium Symphony, I hope some enterprising body has put together a recording which could be of great interest to residents and tourists (what a souvenir of York).
As all churches are strapped for funds, part of the proceeds could be donated to the churches involved. Surely copyright would not be involved?
