Residents concerned about mobile phone masts in York can find out more when a travelling roadshow arrives in the city.
Mobile phone firm Orange will set out its stall at Clifton Moor shopping park tomorrow in an attempt to allay people's fears.
The display will feature video screens showing an information film presented by Crimewatch frontman Nick Ross and Orange staff will also be on hand to offer advice from 10am until 4pm.
The firm has put in an application to City of York Council to change its mast arrangements at Bilbrough water tower, Askham Bryan.
The proposal is for the installation of six "dual polar aerials" to replace six "sectored aerials" and the relocation of three microwave dishes on an existing telecommunications mast.
Mobiles firm BT Cellnet has also applied to the council for permission to build a 15m telecommunications lattice tower with antennae and associated equipment cabin in a field off Germany Lane, in Fulford.
