Staff and pupils at the Forest of Galtres Primary School are taking the opportunity to relax during this week's half-term holiday after a busy week.
Pupils are seen with Zena Bernasca, who gave a talk about a Christian project in Uganda.
Another visitor to the school at Shipton-by-Beningbrough was the children's author Julian Atterton, who helped the pupils celebrate National Book Week.
The children also donned jeans to raise money for the health charity Jeans For Genes.
To cap a successful week, two football teams from the school recorded victories over Husthwaite Primary School: Years Five and Six won 15 - 1; Years Three and Four won 2 - 0.
