Basement side CGU shocked York Leeper Hare League premier division leaders Crayke when holding them to a 1-1 draw.
The first half was keenly contested but goalless, though the Villagers squandered a couple of good chances.
Crayke went in front when Mal Coulson netted from close range, but Steve Arksey equalised with a well placed header to give the Insurancemen their first point.
Huntington knocked visitors Grasshoppers for six with a 6-2 win in the York and District Leeper Hare premier division.
They went ahead early on, when Mick Gosling cut in from the left to net with a low drive.
They then missed an easy chance, while Grasshoppers counter-attacked only to be denied by an outstanding Darren Winters save.
The hosts began to dominate and forwards player-manager Paul Pemberton, John Barker, and Mick Goslin were a constant threat.
Good work in midfield ended with a cracking goal by Paul Noon, before Pemberton tucked away their third. After the break, the hosts continued their dominate, scoring two further goals by John Barker and defender Pete Vest.
Grasshoppers improved with Adrian White and Tom Coates playing well, the latter pulling one back with a good finish.
The visitors were then awarded a penalty, which Coates netted, but Rovers added a sixth three minutes from time through Barker.
Rufforth came away with the points after a 2-1 win at Kartiers.
Andy Moss shot the visitors ahead on 20 minutes, though John Woodall equalised well early in the second session. Both sides missed chances before Chad Brooks fired in the winner six minutes from time.
New Earswick travelled to Dringhouses with only ten men, and although they never stopped trying they lost 5-1 to a strong home side, who were three up at half time with goals from Andy Barkway (2), and Jim McMurray.
Jim McMurray bagged his second after the restart, while New Earswick were rewarded for their effort with a well taken goal by Jonathan Smith. Houses came straight back, Alan Goodrick netting their fifth. The man of the match was New Earswick 'keeper Carl Tuman who was outstanding, making a number of brilliant saves.
