Simon Wade scored the goal of the Leeper Hare York and District League season so far as he won the game for Post Office in their division one clash at Wigginton Black Horse.
Starting in his own half he beat half the Black Horse team before slotting the ball home.
Antony Luck had given the home side a half-time lead, which Matt Knowles had cancelled out after the break before Wade scored.
Andrew Battersby scored both the St John's College goals as the students beat Civil Service 2-1, Alex Livey scoring for the latter.
Neither Nestle Rowntree nor Haxby could fine the net in their game but Osbaldwick and South Bank shared six goals with the Osbaldwick goals coming from Richard Taylor (2) and Micky Burdett. Mark Belleh and Graham Bootland (2) were the South Bank scorers.

Rich Jennison netted four times and Andy Metcalfe twice as Huby put six past Poppleton without reply.
Copmanthorpe surrendered a half-time lead to Haxby and Wigginton who won 3-2. Jamie Agnew opened the scoring for Copmanthorpe and Richard Iggulden equalised for Haxby and Wigginton, only for Agnew to score his second before half-time.
Tony Laird levelled the scores again and Paul Dyson hit the winner with 20 minutes remaining.
Hamilton Panthers went to the top of division three with a 4-0 win at basement side Grasshoppers 82.
All the goals came in the second half from Paul King (2), Matthew Wright and Neil Hartley.
Marton cum Grafton lost at home by the odd goal in nine in their encounter with Wilberfoss. Mike Shires, Phil Lee, John Watson and Duncan Aldrick scored for Marton and John Hardcastle (2), Shaun Hodgson (2) and Pete Norman were on target for the winners.
Mark Walker (2), Stuart Briggs and Paul Stephenson scored as Selby RSSC won 4-0 at home to Wheldrake, who are still without a point.
Andrew Kenyon gave Moor Lane the lead at home to Strensall. After the break Chris Graham equalised but Charlie Goodwin hit the winner for The Lane in the 70th minute.
Elvington Harriers were winning 2-1 at half-time on Hob Moor against LNER Builders with goals from Tom Ovington and John Rogerson, Steve Smith having scored for the home side. However, Smith equalised after the break and Kevin Webb hit the winner for Builders.
