York's St Peter's School has played host to the BBC's Blue Peter to make a film about one of the school's most famous Old Boys Guy Fawkes.
Presenter Matt Baker met up with present day pupil at St Peter's Matthew Mikola, who played the young Fawkes for a programme to be broadcast on Friday November 3, shortly before Bonfire Night.
Matthew, who is 15 and from York, is a keen young actor who appeared in this year's Mystery Plays in the Minster.
Filming took place in Stonegate, the birthplace of the Gunpowder Plot's most famous conspirator, and at the school itself.
Headmaster Andrew Trotman pointed out that at the time of the plot the school was not on its present site but nearer the Minster, but its current grounds were supposedly farmland owned by the Fawkes family at the time.
Guy was also said to have married the daughter of one of his predecessors, a headmaster called Pulleyn.
It was good to have Blue Peter back filming at the school, having last seen them two years ago for a Norwegian festival. "We are pleased to have them here," said Mr Trotman.
