Focus Fireplaces York and District Table Tennis League division one leaders Sessions 'A' have opened up a six point lead over second placed Fulford Road WMC 'A'.
Sessions had wins over York RI 'B' and Coneysthorpe 'A'. Chris Nicholls was unbeaten in both matches and still has 100 per cent for the season. RI's Vic Smith had a good win over Andrew Nicholls 23-21 21-19.
Mick Wilcockson was unbeaten when they beat Coneysthorpe 'A' 8-2. Fulford Road WMC 'A' beat Bootham Conservative Club 'B' 6-4, Graham Hatfield won all three for Fulford. Simon Kelly played well for Bootham to win two.
Richard Crowther won all three for RI 'A' over their 'B' team in a 5-5 draw. An under-strength INL 'A' paid the penalty when they were hammered 9-1 by Coneysthorpe 'B', three wins each for Charles Allenby and Paul Creswell.
Top match in division two was between INL 'B' and York RI 'D' which finished 5-5. INL 'B' came back from 4-0 down to earn the draw. John Elliott won all three for RI and was well supported by Anne Barnard and Bill Eason, who won one each. Keith Bojas won two and Steve Long and Martin Hood one each for INL.
Mike Cooper and Dave Rawlings each won three as Poppleton 'B' retained second place after their 8-2 win over Nestl Rowntree 'B'.
Fulford Road WMC 'B' beat INL 'C' 6-4. Eddie Wardman won all three, Vice Reed two and they won the doubles. Martin Symons won two for INL.
British Telecom 'B' enjoyed a 9-1 win over previous leaders Sessions 'B'. Brian Milner and Jim Stevenson were unbeaten for BT.
British Telecom 'A', without a win, went down 7-3 to Bootham Conservative Club 'C'. Dave Simpson was unbeaten as Nestl Rowntree 'A' beat Poppleton 'C' 6-4.
Poppleton 'D' lead division three after a 9-1 win over South Bank SC. Mike Staples and Richard Falkingham each won three for Poppleton. South Bank's Richard Day lost his first matches of the season.
A two-man Bootham Conservative Club 'E' found the handicap too much for them going down 7-3 to Poppleton 'E'.
Pete Lewis won all three for INL 'D' in their 6-4 win over Shepherds 'A'. Malcolm Haswell's three wins kept Coneysthorpe 'C' team's 100 per cent record as they overcame Sessions 'C' 6-4.
Bootham Conservative Club 'D' found Graham Perrin and Dave Boothroyd in top form. They each won three and Northern Electric ran out 7-3 winners.
Fulford Road WMC 'C' lead division four after their 9-1 win over Sessions 'D'. Clive Warley and Colin Dickson were unbeaten for Fulford.
Last week's leaders York RI 'F' went down at home to CGNU 'A' with John McDonald winning all three for CGNU. York Police have started to climb the table, they beat a two-man York RI 'H' team 8-2.
Nestl Rowntree 'C' went down 4-6 to Poppleton 'F'. Peter Thompson won all three for Nestl.
Richard Leafe kept his 100 per cent intact with three wins for York RI 'G' over Shepherds 'B' in an 8-2 win.
