ACCIDENTAL omission or deliberate ploy to catch the eye?
It caught mine - 'Abbey ruins snowdrops' (October 17).
My first thought was that some ancient remains had collapsed, flattening millions of lovingly-planted snowdrops and we were just now hearing about it.
Then I read on and decided that we must never go ahead and do away with the humble apostrophe as some have suggested.
It could change the face of history!
