The tear-stained bed of Big Brother's Machiavellian manipulator 'nasty' Nick Bateman has been snapped up by a North Yorkshire bed company.
And Ian Beattie, 43, sales director of Ultrassage UK, of Sherburn-in-Elmet, believes that if Nick had been given one of his company's beds to sleep on in the Big Brother house, he would not have been so nasty.
The stockbroker, who famously cheated his way to a shameful exit from the hit Channel 4 gameshow, spent much of his time providing Raiki massage sessions to his fellow housemates.
The television artefact, complete with bedding, snapped up by Mr Beattie for £1,000, will be displayed above the Ultrassage stand at next March's Ideal Homes Exhibition at Earl's Court in London.
Mr Beattie said: "The bed was in a charity auction on TV and I thought it would be an incredibly good thing for us to dangle from the ceiling at the Ideal Homes Exhibition.
The bed came complete with the 'unwashed' bedding Nick had slept on and hidden under as he attempted to hide his tears from the nation during his final traumatic hours in the house.
