York City boss Terry Dolan has made another bid to strengthen his firepower by signing Aston Villa attacking midfielder Neil Tarrant on a one month loan.
The 6ft 1in 21-year-old cost Villa £250,000 when they bought him from Scottish side Ross County, where he had scored 20 goals in 44 games, but he has been unable to claim a regular first-team berth at Villa Park.
Born in Darlington, he was a trainee at his home town club before moving for Shamrock Rovers in the Irish League where he played only twice prior to his switch to Ross County.
