I WRITE in response to Denise Robinson's letter about the appalling possible closure of Ralph Butterfield School. What about the also appalling possible closure of Oaken Grove School?

Oaken Grove has recently been given an excellent OFSTED report - not something only reserved for Ralph Butterfield School and, contrary to what is stated, we have more than 100 children facing disruption.

We are a very successful school with small class sizes - not something many schools can boast these days.

It makes me sad when no one seems to be considering how our 100-plus children will cope if their happy and caring learning environment disappears.

Mrs B Dunhill,

Landsdown Way,
