I DON'T go to Clifton Moor shops if I can help it and after a visit this weekend I remember why.

This shopping centre is set in the middle of a huge residential area yet there are no pedestrian short-cuts between the stores. So everyone has to park, shop in one area, get in their cars, drive to the next part, park, and so on. Don't the developers and city council realise this is why Clifton Moor is so clogged with traffic? I bet even the people who live within walking distance drive to the shops. What happened to conserving energy and keeping the environment clean? Vicky Clarke,
