SARAH Drew has already crowned her business success at the Fishergate Centre in York - hundreds of times over.
Under her own name, she makes beautiful tiaras which are as affordable as they are lovely. And now she is entering our New Business of the Year category.
Brides all over Britain are either visiting her shopping outlets or beaming into her website at www.sarahdrew.co.uk to snap up her made-to-measure-and-match headgear glittering with rose quartz, amethyst and freshwater pearls at prices ranging from £70 to £140. Toffs are also attracted, buying them at top shops like Liberty in London's Regent Street.
She also makes matching jewellery as part of the bridal range called Mashmeringue
Her designs of couture bags are aimed at the high fashion market and her autumn/winter 2000 range is already available through Souvenir, the independent London boutique, one of 30 outlets she hopes to foster by next June.
She began her business in June, moving into the Fishergate Centre in August with the help of Prince's Trust funding and is involved in the work-based learning scheme through York Business Development.
