CONGRATULATIONS on your Millennium Bridge supplement (October 3).
I was pleased to read that the Cyclists' Touring Club welcomed the project.
I hope they will set a good example for us all to follow by their careful use of the approaches and by sticking to their lanes on the bridge itself, slowing down for pedestrians or even getting off!
Our footpaths are increasingly being used as cycle tracks and little seems to be done about it.
I have twice been spun round by teenage cyclists on the footpath outside my house and a frail and elderly near neighbour of ours was recently knocked down while posting a letter and left to pick herself up by the teenage hit-and-run cyclist.
