York RUFC have been handed a bout of double trouble ahead of their game at Old Crossleyans tomorrow.
Brothers James and Sam Arkle are out of the reckoning after they both broke thumbs in the last home game against Goole.
York will be looking for their first league win of the season against opposition who, like York, are struggling to find their feet in North Two East.
Injury problems mean that York will field their fourth different stand-off in as many games. Adam Smith takes the place of Toby Cockroft in a new half back pairing with Craig Ventress, who stands in for James Arkle.
Sam Arkle's place on the wing will be taken by Will Farbrother, another product of the burgeoning Colts system at Clifton Park.
In the absence through injury of both Tom Copeland and Guy Rustlings, Simon Bullough makes his seasonal debut at full-back.
In the pack there is one change, with Andy Kay moving to the bench to allow Jim Hawcutt to return to open side flanker having recovered from a thigh injury.
Yorkshire One side Pocklington will be aiming to avenge two narrow defeats by Pontefract, who visit Percy Road tomorrow.
Sam Allen hopes to be back on the wing for Pocklington after recovering from a back injury.
Also returning to the Pocklington squad is back row forward Andrew Wilson, who was unavailable last week.
Selby, who are level on league points with Pocklington but one point behind on match points difference, expect another close encounter at Hull.
Selby's only team change sees Rob Taylor come in at No 8 while one of last week's try scorers, Andy Minto, steps down in a re-shuffled back row.
Goole, with their strong set of forwards and excellent back row, hope to maintain their good form against visiting Morpeth in North Two East tomorrow.
A big winning margin over Otliensians could see Malton and Norton improve on their third place in Yorkshire Three.
They are currently level on points with leaders Skipton and second place Barnsley.
Neil Gilberton is unavailable for Malton and Norton and Liam Cowton takes his place in the squad. For the second week running Tim Chapman is unavailable.
Both Northallerton and Scarborough are at home tomorrow in Yorkshire Two.
Northallerton are at home to Castleford, while Scarborough are at full strength as they entertain Wath on Dearne at first and second team level.
York RI were bitterly disappointed to find that National Cup and competition rugby takes priority over the league which leaves RI without a game.
They were to entertain Moortown, but the Leeds-based side are on Tetley's Bitter Vase duty with a second round tie against Wakefield Cougars.
