ON behalf of Operation Christmas Child I thank Terry's of York, Magsons and various shoe shops in the city for their support and generous donations last year. I also thank everyone who took the time to fill a shoebox. They were gratefully and joyfully received in Rumania, Belarus and Albania.
Operation Christmas Child is a Christian Charity, which sends filled shoeboxes to children in Eastern Europe. Often these are the only Christmas presents the children receive. It is very easy to fill a shoebox with small toys, games, stationery, sweets etc and a Christmas card. Please help us this year and don't forget £2 to cover transport in Eastern Europe.
