DOT.com companies will be among the new faces making a splash at the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development's exhibition for people management professionals, taking place in Harrogate this month.
The rise in e-learning, web-based recruitment and other on-line human resource services has led to many new names making an appearance, alongside established providers. Personnel and development practitioners will be able to find out how exhibitors are tackling the growing demand for e-solutions to a broad span of HR activities, such as training and assessment or employee communications.
The three-day event, the largest management exhibition in Europe, starts on Wednesday October 25, and is expected to attract a total of 7,000 visitors to the Harrogate International Centre's new exhibition hall.
More than 320 exhibitors will be taking part, covering all aspects of personnel and development. As well as demonstrating advances in technology, this year's exhibitors will be providing information and advice on many of the key concerns of today's people management professionals including the impact of organisational change, employee motivation, stress management, lifelong learning and effective recruitment and retention.
