YORK City goalkeeper Russ Howarth was today expecting to get a full 90 minutes under his belt for England under-18s.
They were due to face the Faroe Islands today in the European Championship qualifying tournament being held in Ancona, Italy.
Howarth (pictured) had to settle for a seat on the bench as England opened with a 4-0 win over Andorra on Saturday, but was expected to replace Chelsea's Rhys Evans in goal for the meeting with the Scandinavians.
England follow today's clash with a meeting with hosts Italy on Wednesday.
