THE York Leeper Hare League programme was disrupted by the York FA Cup competitions, with only one premier division game taking place.
In it, Rufforth travelled to Crayke with a weakened side and went down 4-1.
The hosts were two up at the break with goals by Simon Wilson and Paul Ellerker and, although Rufforth tried to get into the game, Crayke went further ahead with a Mark Hutchinson strike.
Rufforth narrowed the gap as Paul Moss bagged a consolation, but Tim Jackson slotted in the fourth for Crayke to complete the scoring.
A further nine league matches took place in the other divisions, most having early kick-offs due to the England versus Germany game.
Osbaldwick managed their first division one win of the season at Civil Service.
After a scoreless first half, in which both defences were on top, the deadlock was finally broken when Dave Watson, on the Osbaldwick right wing, avoided a challenge and sent over an inch-perfect cross for Neil Richardson to head home.
Ten minutes later, Nigel Costello took advantage of hesitation in the home defence to hit a terrific shot from 25 yards to seal the win. Dermot Skelly in goal and Rich Wells at the centre of defence were the pick of the Service team.
St John's College enjoyed the bulk of the possession in the first half of their game at home to Barmby Moor but could not find the finishing touch.
After the break Barmby Moor came more into the game and took the lead through a John Peacock penalty.
Three minutes later Barry Shepherdson made it 2-0 and Phil Goddard added a third with two minutes remaining.
Another team that could not convert possession into goals was Malton Bacon Factory.
After dominating most of their home game against Fulford they were dealt a killer blow when Fulford's Paul Cooper scored the only goal of the game in the last minute.
Heslington are the early leaders in division two after their latest victory, 5-3 at Poppleton.
Poppleton's scorers were Simon Hunt, Steve Ayres and John Beech, while three of Heslington's goals from the penalty spot.
Stillington enjoyed a comfortable 5-1 win at home to Copmanthorpe thanks to a hat-trick from Chris Manson and strikes from Richard Wilsdon and Jimmy Inman.
Another hat-trick man was Mark Latimer of Hammerton who helped his team to a 4-2 victory over Haxby and Wigginton.
Hammerton's fourth came from an own goal while Chris Dyson scored both the Haxby and Wigginton goals.
After relegation last season Hamilton Panthers have recorded two straight wins in division three.
Their latest victims were Wheldrake who were hit for five without reply.
Strensall recorded the same scoreline against Grasshoppers 82 with goals from Paul Norris (2), Tony Mason (2) and Mick Pipe.
In the only reserve division game played Haxby and Wigginton benefited from three first-half penalties, duly converted by Rich Hunt (2) and Mike Smith.
Visitors Stillington fought back with goals from Shaun Linton and Steve Johnson but two second-half goals from Mike Taylor and Carl Kidds ensured the points for Haxby and Wigginton.
