A TEAM of former dancers who have not seen each other for about 40 years will get back together tomorrow, when former pupils of the Three Graces Ballet School hold a reunion in York.
Dancers from the school were very well known locally in their 1950s and 1960s heyday, appearing in many shows, including the Theatre Royal pantomime.
And though most of the school's pupils are now into their sixties, a number of them are still dancing, including one ex-member, who is 79.
Even more surprising is that two of the three sisters who taught at the school will be at the reunion, even though they are well into their nineties.
Organiser Judy Ruddy (nee Jackson), said: "Most of the girls were from York, so if you were a pupil at the school and don't know about the reunion, please come along. It promises to be a great day."
The reunion will be held at the Holgate Hill Hotel, meeting for lunch at noon, for a 1pm start.
For further information, telephone Judy on (0191) 2512019.
