Heworth fought back from the shock of conceding an early goal to beat Hamilton Panthers 3-1 in division one of York Mitchell Sports League.
Danny Sandford put Panthers ahead after only two minutes. Andrew Bilton equalised and Heworth went on to win with an own goal and a Mark Braithwaite strike.
Thomas Salt scored four in Real Cliffe's 7-0 win against Rawcliffe. The other scorers were Thomas Hogg (2) and James Topping.
Despite a couple of goals from C Stewart, Pocklington won 3-2 at Heworth with goals by Martin Peacock (2) and Craig Pettit.
Thorpe United's 4-1 win over Copmanthorpe Cougars sees them lead the division. Thorpe's scorers were Jamie Broughton (2), Aaron Tiplady and Rupert Simpson.
Tadcaster beat Poppleton 5-3 with goals from J Snider (3), D Phillips and J Dewar.
In division two, Tim Toase scored five goals as Easingwold Town won 6-1 at Corinthians. Scott Dixon netted Easingwold's other goal and John Thornton bagged Corinthians' consolation goal.
Haxby Town, with two goals from Russ Kidd and one each from Richard Brown and Craig Minton, edged out South Milford 4-3.
Barlby Raiders and Selby Olympia drew 2-2. Ewan Pomfret and Alex Rhodes scored for Barlby.
North Duffield scored their first goals of the season, through Jamie Sedman, Michael King and Nicholas Atkinson, but lost 5-3 to New Earswick, whose goals came fom Dale Hunt (2), Jamie Green, Thomas Hunt and John Patrick.
Joe Kamarski scored a hat-trick, David Earnshaw netted twice and Alex Webb and Ben Webb got one each in Fulford's 7-1 thumping of Holme Rovers, whose scorer was Richard Medd.
Brooklyn's Jimmy Tonkinson and Fraser Lumnley both scored four goals as Brooklyn won 10-2 at York RI. Also on the scoresheet for Brooklyn were Andrew Thompson and Ross Harrison, with Stephen Knaggs and Steven Harper on the mark for RI.
Craig Hargreaves' hat-trick helped Stamford Bridge beat Copmanthorpe Jaguars 4-2, with Luke Tipping adding the fourth. Ben Potter and Mikey Chadwick found the net for Jaguars.
Huntington overwhelemed Carr Vikings 15-1 with J Heslop and M Dhesi both scoring five goals. The rest came from B Ross (2), J Eve, A Ward and D Barratt. Eric Boldison scored for Vikings.
Dunnington won 9-2 at Hamilton Panthers thanks to goals by Russell Carr (3), John Castle (2), Charles Metcalfe, Mathew Davies, Richard Mercer and Simon Cochrane.
