First round ties have to be completed by October 22.

Manor School Under-14s seem to have unearthed a real hotshot in David Barrett.

The winners of the six groups in the qualifying round of the Cade Trophy six-a-side competition are English Martyrs, Hempland, Wigginton, Bishopthorpe, Dringhouses and Kingsway.
They will compete in the finals which are being held this Saturday.

Rugby Union
York Sixth Form College have been knocked out of the first round of the Daily Mail Schools Cup, losing 33-0 at St Wilfrid's, Featherstone.
Ashville College, Harrogate, edged out Guiseley 6-0 and will now travel to St Wilfrid's in the next round.
Ripon Grammar, comfortable 41-7 winners against St Mary's, Menston, will entertain Rodillian in round two.
